I've started making my own pots and what not out of cement . It's stupidly easy and a lot of fun .

How we made them .

we used two plastic punch bowls ,one of the bowls was smaller and can fit inside the other .{the kind you get a party supply places }
cooking spray
and this cement recipe
1 part portland cement
3 parts play sand
1 part water

we mixed the cement in a wheelbarrow while weareing gloves and face masks ! You don't want to breathe in portland cement .

Then we sprayed the inside of the larger bowl and the outside of the smaller bowl with cooking spray.

added about an inch or so of cement to the larger bowl then we took the smaller bowl and carefully set it inside making sure it was as centered as possible .

then we just started packing cement down the sides ,using our fingers to tap it down.
the beach glass was added while it was wet.

covered it with a plastic bag and let it cure over night .

I plan on trying more sculptural stuff soon !
