My old bird feeder in the front yard was just about worn out, so I thought it was time to build a new one. I bought some used cupboard doors from the local Re Store, and they worked just great. Cost of doors, $12, cost of hardware, $3, paint, negligible, cost for birds, Priceless!
I couldn't decide if I wanted to paint it plain or decorated, and opted for decorated. The only thing I forgot to do was paint the underside of the roof white to match the rest, so will have to do that tomorrow. Anyway, it is all finished and up. Just waiting for customers. It might take a bit for the birds to get used to the new feeder, but once they do, look out!

Old feeder, photo taken a couple of months ago, after rain storm, you can see it is pretty beaten up.
This is also posted to my journal, in case you are seeing double.
