With them both (serger and normal), I made a new skirt!




Just a basic circle skirt, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out...


I got to use my new twin needle on the hem (yes, I'm a sewing dork).



Zipper & hook & eye:




If anyone has any tips on how to put in zippers that the process is not a gigantic pain the butt, it would be appreciated.

and as a bonus, here's a bra strap holder I imagined up...





Approximately 4-5 inches of elastic, two snaps....
( I assume fabric might work, too)




It's worked better on some bras than others...
