My first attempts with antique materials.
May. 28th, 2009 04:36 pmI’ve always loved antique keys and I finally picked up a couple to work with. I also decided to try some vintage chandelier crystals as well. I’ve gotten a wee bit bored with what I’ve been doing, so I decided to experiment. The designs are pretty simple, but I really like the way the turned out.

(Ice Drop Earrings – Sterling silver and antique chandelier crystals. These are super simple, but I just loved how pretty the crystals looked hanging from the chain.)

(Keyed Up Necklace - Sterling silver and antique chandelier crystals and antique key. I love the contrast of the super shiny silver and crystal with the rusty key. )

(Crystal Cascade Necklace - - Sterling silver and antique chandelier crystals and antique key. I came up with this in the middle of the night in a motel room. I’ve never done anything like this and I had so much fun making things off center for a change. :P)
