mccalls skirt pattern~a ribbon?

in my clothing class, im getting ready to make a skirt. im using a mccall's pattern and i went out and bought all of the materials i'll need for it. i dont have the pattern folder with me, so im not sure what this is quite for. oh well, guess i'll find out tomorrow. im confused because its not a wrap around skirt. so, has anyone used a mccall's pattern to make a skirt? ive only used simplicity so im thinking this wont be as easy going.
