First off, thanks everyone who helped me figure out the whole 'glazing clay' questions I had last time. I went with some floor-polish and boy am I ever glad I did! I coated a couple test pieces and subjected them to some maliciously horrible torture I could think of and they came through with barely a few scratches. I even managed to cover claythings I had used Sculpey glaze on previously with no problem at all! They went from grungy to their former glory and I couldn't be happier. Thanks so much!
Right, so.
Recently I've become a bit obsessed with buttons and bottlecaps. I've been cranking out bottlecap keychains whenever I get my grubby little paws on some and churning out little button-pendants. OH MY GOD IT IS SO MUCH FUN! Everything is so tiny and when things are tiny they seem to increase 30-56% in cuteness. Trufax!
And now I give you:

Okay, so this one has nothing to do with buttons... but he IS pretty cute AND he glows in the dark!
I've always had an idea to make a critter holding a coin, so that I could take pictures using it as a size-reference.
My plan would've worked poifectly if it wasn't for the fact that I'm constantly forgetting him inside when I'm out taking pictures.

These were my first button-able pendants. I was fresh off the Cthulhu-figure train and a stray jar of buttons caught my eye.
Add in my complete adoration for the movie Coraline, and you have the unlikely pairing of button-eyed Cthulhu pendants ON buttons!
...then, of course, I became a bit button-obsessed.
(Note, I couldn't find small enough buttons at the time for the eyes of these guys, so I went ahead and made them out of clay. 'Course, Murphy's Law dictated that I find a big jar of the teeniest-tiniest buttons ever right after I finished making them.)

And now for some bottlecaps!
I've recently fallen in love with Plants vs Zombies, so I decided that I needed to make some bottlecap keychain-thingies featuring some of my favourite plants... and a Pretty Pretty Princess Zombie.

You know what? I love making little koi pendants.
One, they're simple enough that I can do them while watching tv/chatting with friends.
Two, they can be in any dang colour you want, so I can make them to match any of my shirts/outfits.
OH MAN, KOI-PENDANTS WHY DO YOU HAVE TO GO AND MAKE ME ALL GIRLY?

Oh man, I love sushi. I love making tiny sushi. I love making tiny plates of sushi being cuddled by multi-coloured disembodied tentacles.
They're so much fun to make and wear!
...'Course, the only problem is the horrible sushi craving that crops up afterwards.

MMM EEL AND AVOCADO ROLLS
MMM CALIFORNIA ROLLS
MMM SHRIMP NIGIRI
MMM TUNA MAKI
MMM SUSHI

I'm sorry the picture is so big, but I just couldn't find it in me to shrink it down. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
I've had the idea in my head to do ALL of the druid forms in clay... and doing them tiny-like on the backs of buttons is an easy primer on how to do things once I get around to doing them in full 3D. 'Course, now I'm going to have to do all the druid forms in their new patch colour combinations. JOY!
Oddly enough, my favourite is a tie between the Horde Tree of Life and the Ghoul... and I didn't figure that the ghoul would turn out well at all!
(oddly enough, I think that little arcane blueberry of a Voidwalker is the cutest. Who knew it could beat out a Murkie?)

That there bowl is chock-full of mini button pendants.
Have I mentioned that I've only been at this for a week or so?
SO ADDICTIVE!
Right, so.

Buttons and bottlecaps and things unrelated to either!
WARNING:
OH MAN, THERE ARE A LOT OF PICTURES UNDER THE CUT!
