Paper Boxes
Jul. 24th, 2009 02:38 pmSo, I'm making paper boxes.:D
So far, I've been toying with ones made from a single sheet of A4 card - basically, scored and cut, so it folds round and makes the box and a lid, as in the picture.

I don't have enough card to make the front edge of the lid, but I do have a spare bit that I cut off earlier - it's about the width of a ruler, and the full length of the card. Anyone know a way I could make some kind of clasp out of it?
I do know how to make origami boxes (that end up a quarter of the size of the original sheet), but I'd need to use two to make a box with a lid, and I'm trying to be economical.
Thanks in advance.
