I bought dark grey jeans that I love but the thread was beige and made them look ugly, so I thought I would use fabric markers to go over it to make the thread dark grey as well. I used two different 'permanent fabric markers' from Joanns (don't remember the brands) and after spending over 5 hours going over every little thread, they get washed and it all comes out. I am so frustrated beyond belief that I have to do it over again. What fabric markers do you recommend that will not wash out (preferably ever), are black or dark grey and under $10? Please and thank you for your help.

Materials: Aluminum foil, Sculpey clay, acrylic paint, glaze, cotton, cloth, gauze

I made the head and neck out of aluminum foil and covered it in a thin layer of Sculpey clay. I smoothed it out the best I could (should have used Super Sculpey instead) then put it in the oven. When it was done, I painted it with acrylic paint and glazed it with clear decoupage. The body was hand sewn out of an old towel and stuffed it with cotton, then I wrapped the body up with gauze. I didn't know how to connect the head and body permanently so I just made a hole in the body and put the neck in it.

Thanks for looking. :)
