Hi there! First time poster here. Ah- well- I'm actually not familiar with crafts. I draw more than anything else. But a couple weeks ago a friend and I tried our hand at customizing a pair of shoes. We picked up a pair of white, canvas sneakers from Zellers and I brought over my markers and paint.

The shoe here is apart of a pair I'm making for my Dad. I didn't use anything too special for this. Pencil to draw the design on, ballpoint pen to outline in black. Acrylic paint and copic markers for color. With these shoes, the plan is that they're more art than they are shoes when I'm done with them. No one's really planning on wearing them. However, I picked up a sealant from Payless to make sure the paint and ink wouldn't fade or smear when wet.

Also- I'm sans the digital camera at the moment. So all I had on hand was my laptop webcam. I hope the videos are okay? If not, please let me know o__o. I wouldn't want to get kicked out on my first post.
