Crocheted Guitar Strap
Aug. 17th, 2009 10:52 pmI made this crocheted guitar strap for my husband's birthday. It is crocheted out of recycled sari yarn, which you can buy here if you can't get it locally. The yarn is amazing, it's really strong but soft and has an incredible mix of colours.
It's a simple pattern, just chain five foot long (you could actually make it shorter for a bass, now he tells me) and single crochet six or seven rows, until you have the right width. I took the buckle and the ends off of an inexpensive guitar strap I bought on ebay and sewed my strap on to them. Details and a link to the tutorial are on my ravelry.
This would make a great present for the guy who won't wear the hats and scarves you keep making him;)
