Hand Dyed Recycled Yarn

Remember this sweater? I still had the back and one sleeve of the sweater I had unraveled to get the yarn for it. So I decided to try my hand at dyeing it.

I picked up a tie dye kit and tried it out on my 100% cotton sweater back..


And I came up with around 400 yards of beautiful sea foam blues. (I did wash, skein, and hang this with a weight but it is still slightly kinky.)
