new scarves of 09!

hey there!  it's been awhile since i've shared my fabric-mixing obsessions.  it's going on the 3rd year of making these scarves and i'm always looking to freshin' things up.




i'm often worried about using the suiting/pants because they're so masculine looking.  i'm trying to lighten up a bit - using more pinks & reds! 





also, skinnier versions.  makes them easier to tie.






numbers!  i'll be sad when i run out of this fabric.






my latest adventure- the rosette!  that pink silk was begging to be made into a rose. 






a vintage skirt w/ black piping was a great thrift find.  a floral dalmation!






quite possibly my most favorite scarf i've ever made.  that striated silver silk is so beautiful, and sadly, discontinued.  :(

so, if any of you are scarf people, do you prefer skinny or wide?  long or short?  would you normally wear them more casually with an outfit (t-shirt, whatever) or with a jacket/coat?
