A crafty Labor Day weekend.
Sep. 7th, 2009 07:26 pmHi all! Just thought I'd share a couple of the things I got to work on this weekend (and ask a question).
First and foremost I had to doctor my door pig (he's a doorstop). His wing broke a couple of weeks ago while I was redecorating.

That was him in his glory days.
He's a brand new pig!

I was going to paint him, but I just picked up a bunch of cloth napkins at Pier1 on clearance.
I cut one into strips and layered them all over with Mod Podge.
I just love the fabric; it reminds me of my granny's aprons ♥ :)
The other project was finishing some pendants...

The middle one is hanging from a leather cord which is being very stubborn about straightening out and isn't very pliable.
Any tips for that? If that's just the nature of the cord then I will switch to the twisted fiber like the other two.
