Happy Haunted Halloween Project
Oct. 19th, 2009 10:00 pmI am going to be driving to my daughter’s in Kingston and will be there for a month. This means I will be there for Halloween and might be taking my granddaughter out for Halloween. She will be three years old in December, so she is really excited about Halloween this year. My daughter is expecting their second child any day, so I hope I make it there before the happy arrival.
Well, my girlfriend found this pattern on the Michael’s website and we decided this would be our project for this year. She thought it would be a good thing to take down to my granddaughter, and I agreed. So we started on the project. All the characters as well as the house are made from clay pots. The only character that isn’t is the Pumpkin Head Trick or Treater. These little people are in two sizes. The big ones stand 5 ¼ inches high, not including the witch’s hat or the Bride of Frankenstein’s hair doo. The little trick or treaters are 2 ¼ inches high, again, not including the little Princess’s tiara or the witch’s hat. We had so much fun making the haunted house. The whole project took us over 5 full days working on it. We had a ball, making the little costumes, and putting everything together. This blog is photo heavy, so dial up users beware.
