I made my own buttons!

I have recently decided that button making is just about the best way to use up polymer clay canes. This could be because I have an unhealthy love for buttons.

Checkers
A bit on process: I used cutters. To get the edges neatly rounded, I spread plastic wrap over the top of the polymer clay and pressed the cutter down on the plastic wrap. Each button was buffed with a fabric buffing wheel and my beloved Dremel, hand-polished with felt, and then sealed with a glossy polyurethane coat, mostly because I like things shiny. The holes are the last step- I tried a few methods, and decided that dremeling them out post-polyurethane looked best. There's all sorts in all sizes; citrus and checkers and eyeballs and glow-in-the-dark stars and even toggle-like squid.
Stars (Which Glow!)
The giant star button is probably my favorite- it's HUGE. I think it needs to go on a bulky knit hat.
Single Eyeballs
Because normal button eyes aren't creepy enough. Please ignore the bad photo editing; sometimes (particularly since I've been using a really cheap loaner camera after my camera died an untimely death) I just kind of give up.

Squid Toggles
I plan to give some of 'em away, and I was hoping for a little input: what's your favorite? Thank you!
