hey guys. i've been checking this community out for only 2 days, but i am obsessively hooked, and thus decided to join.

[i checked the memories section and couldn't find anything, so i appologize if it's there and i'm just a moron]
my boyfriend's twin brother is getting married, and he and i want to make something for them in addition to buying them something mass-produced and impersonal. they're young [25/26], nerdy [think lord of the rings, action figures and comic books], artsy [he draws comic books + she is obsessed with the art of decoupage and x-stitching], and much deserving of something bad-ass. the wedding isn't until october, so we have a good amount of time. also, they've lived together for a few years now, so they have pretty much everything basic [coffee tables, etc.], which throws out my idea of decoupaging a coffee table [do they really need 2?]. i want to make them something useful, not just something that will sit on a shelf amongst massive amounts of action figures and never be seen. any ideas!? i don't know why i'm so brain dead about this.
