Earring dilemma

craftgrrlI was given three lovely pairs of earrings, but unfortunately I don't have my ears pierced. However, I'm determined to get some use out of them! Is there anything I can do with them (other than removing the hook, adding a jump ring, and making it a necklace pendant)?
