Rue is Drowning in Clear Water
Feb. 14th, 2010 06:10 pmI just finished this doll. She took me most of a week, working in all my spare moments.
The moon shone through the water and silvered her upturned face. A thousand tiny shards of light that flickered and were gone. She was sinking deeper now and had no wish to breathe. Rue sank her regrets into clear water and sank with them into darkness.

Rue is quite tall at twenty-two inches and is made of a combination of natural and acrylic yarns. She has simple lacework at the hem of her dress and articulated knees. She is made with no pattern and is completely unique, like all my amigurumi. Rue will come with a card printed with her story.
