Those are 20 granny squares measuring 6 inches in size. I changed my mind from doing 25 to just 20 and having it be a 24" x 30" blanket. I started to lay it out after I had 10 squares to see how large it would be and just thought it was too big.

This is what a section of my floor looked like after the kids went to bed. Since I am exceptionally smart I laid it out in the middle of the floor which caused a lot of large steps on the part of Husband so as not to mix up any squares. He was very good natured about it and I finished it up quickly.

All sewn up and hanging over our bench/entertainment center. And for good measure, one more of it all folded up.
