What is it?

There's a few photos behind the cut, so it might take a bit to load.
Guitar strap! I didn't feel I could justify spending much money on a guitar strap, because I won't use it all that much. As well, most straps available in guitar stores have leather on them, which is bad, mmkay. So I was browsing in a local store Reverse Garbage and came across quite a long computer cable (over 2 metres!) which was just the right width.
I got a scrap of vinyl for the end which attaches to the neck of the guitar:

And I just popped a hole in the other end with the plug on it:

And here it is in action:


(Note the lack of my head in any of these pictures due to my complete dorkiness.)
So there you go - crafty re-use of computer bits! Hurrah!
