Last night I finally decided it was time to put the freezer paper and fabric paint to use. ( And the iron I begged my boyfriend to dig out for me over a week ago) I definently wanted to try something easy, and a lot my sons things have this cute elephant on it, so I freehanded it on the freezer paper, and added his initials. I ironed the freezer paper on his onesie, brushed the paint on with a sponge and let it sit near the heater for a bit. The freezer paper came right off when it was dried, and voila! The letters are terrible so I'm getting some letter stencils next time around.I thought it turned out pretty cute :)
Anyone need a tissue?!
I whipped this up last night after seeing it on Martha Stewarts Craft-A-Day website. It didn't turn out quite how I wanted it, and the side threads are quite fragil. I used felt and just measured around those little Kleenex packs to see how big I would need it. This was also my first time using the stitching as part of the design, like on the hearts. I thought they were kind of cute, even if it is almost the end of winter!
And finally I finished one of the blocks for my cousins baby girl, Cassie, for her birthday in May. I'm hoping to have at least three or four, so I can put to use some of the tips I got on here last time! Like putting bells in an empty pill container and a plastic bag so it crinkles.
Thanks for looking :D Any tips are appreciated!
