Busy bea-der
Apr. 3rd, 2010 09:13 pmHeya Craftgrrls.
I've been busy making more jewelry and have been trying to get better about my photographic presentation of my work. It's not so intuitive. XD So, a couple of these I have shared before, I've just got better pictures now. The rest are new. :)

I recently got into Viking knit chain work, and this is my first bracelet in this style. The tutorial I used is so amazingly helpful! Here it is: http://www.fineartbyrocio.com/vikingknitdirections.html
After looking at some pictures in some magazines, I revamped it today. I added the cones to clean up the ends, and discovered that Pandora style beads fit the chain, so I've added a couple of those, too. I love it! <3
The rest of this post is image heavy, so please be forewarned.
Here are the two sets of earrings I already shared; I've got better pictures now.

If any of you have suggestions for taking better pictures, I would love to hear them!
The rest of this stuff is new.
These earrings were inspired by the most recent issue of Stringing magazine. They had a two-page spread of just earrings. I didn't really go with any of their designs, but there were some elements in there that I liked and used.

I love those last ones because I made them so that the dangling elements hang perpendicular to the rings, so it's a really 3-D effect. :D
Here's an earring and bracelet set.

And another bracelet...

Thanks for looking. :) Happy crafting! (And happy Easter to those who celebrate!!)
