My latest projects
May. 7th, 2010 11:25 amI have been busy lately with my crafts. I attended a horticultural weekend and took a willow workshop. It was so much fun. I got home and was all excited about making my own willow baskets. I made two so far, but instead of using willows, I used red dogwoods and birch. I cut them from the bush on my property and got busy nailing.
And I got lucky, we used compressed air brad nailers in the workshop, so they went on sale on Thursday so I bought one. I already had a compressor so it was great.
And also, I have been working on birdhouses, but not for the birds, for decoration in my flower beds. I made two, both shaped like teapots, one right handed and one left handed.
This blog is photo heavy so dial-up viewers beware!
Here is a shot of the basket I made.
