Jun. 16th, 2010 11:30 pmHi there! I've been lurking for a while, but this is my first post...these were for the Ravelry Folklore & Fairy Tales Group spring yarn ball swap. Now that they're safely at their new home in Australia (lucky dolls!) I can safely share the pictures I took before they left:

Her fairy tale was the Princess and the Pea--do you see the little pea that the 'sleepy' princess is holding?

The queen and the 'sleepy' princess are both holding peas. I love the 'sleepy' princess' expression--I imagine that the queen has just cheerfully explained the 'test' to her, and the poor princess (delirious with exhaustion) is saying 'You did what????'
