craftgrrl | Full metal alchemy.... Nonmetal botany?

Someone on deviantart posted a comment once on one of my pieces about how she was sad that she couldn't wear metal jewelry. It was almost a year ago, but it's been bothering me ever since.

So, this weekend I decided I was going to do an experiment and try to come up with a completely metal-free bracelet.

I went with my beloved faux flowers and crystal pearls, and chose a lovely vintage-style lace for the band itself.

I crocheted the clasp with embroidery string and a little crochet hook I carved myself out of the tiniest dowel I've ever seen.

I have very small wrists, so I tried to make the bracelet a little bigger so it would fit more people. I think it would look lovely on a bride or flower girl, or maybe as a prom corsage. What do you think?
