My most recent completed project (finished it today!), "commissioned" by my mother:

She saw something similar in a shop when she last visited me and swore she could make it herself.
(We both suffer from "I CAN MAKE THAT!" Syndrome.)
She bought the glass fish, driftwood and glass beads, then decided she wanted ME to do it.
Originally she wanted to use fishing line for all the hanging parts.
I switched in some hemp cord I had on hand because it was easier to work with (and didn't come with a "contains lead" warning).
Plus, I liked the more natural look of the cord.
I used a Dremel to drill holes at both ends of the driftwood.
Metal wire was used to reinforce knots in some places.
It's probably the least amount of tools/supplies I've used on something in awhile.
