i was on hiatus
Aug. 7th, 2010 06:15 pmhave you ever had a hard time finding inspiration (or even just the time) to be crafty? i was having a really hard time for the last 6 months or so... just didn't feel like making anything..
but i guess when these dry spells happen, they are followed by floods, because i have been crazy busy since finding the inspiration again!
purses

i like the art deco feel to this print

found this amazingggg peter rabit fabric! couldn't wait to make it into a purse :D

ha i love the pocket :)

how sweet is this fruit fabric? i have been coveting it for a while, afraid to cut it ha.

this used to be a beautiful vintage tablecloth (now a more beautiful purse lol)

feeling super summery when i made this one :D

this vintage fabric was so soft and awesome. and kinda random but still pretty. i like how it is a midcentury modern style garden!

i found YARDS AND YARDS of this AMAZINGGGG vintage fabric at a thrift store! i want to make some bigger purses out of it, but i was so excited about it, i whipped this up real quick with a smaller section which had been cut already!

the fabric has all these sweet garden scenes with squirels and bunnies and swans! ooh it is just so amazing! i feel so lucky finding it :D

wristlet made from vintage napkins!

another amazing vintage fabric find!! thrift scoreeee!

my favorite thing about this crossbody bag is that it turned out EXACTLY how i dreamed about it. i love it when that happens!!!

other stuffs!

vintage mass produced art + monsters!!! :D

i love how simple it is to put fabric in to those cross stitch things, and how awesome it ends up looking! so cool! i also painted that bird dealy, it was awful gold but sooo much potential! i love it when people keep things in the house since the 60s and then all the sudden think "i should donate this!" works for me :D
so that is what I have been working on! oh! and here is me, in my work space :D

(i guess refound inspration is super image heavy hehe)
