first time modge-podger!

Okay, I'm addicted! A good friend of mine is moving to another state and I wanted to give her something that she would love, remember me by, and be able to use. So, I made her a box! I bought a wood box with sliding lid from Michael's Crafts and painted it white first and distressed the edges with sand paper. Then I modge-podged it with a bunch of poems I photo copied from library books and some textured tissue paper I found at Target for a buck. It turned out so cute that I helped my sister make one for her friend! We put some Disney song pages and pink textured tissue paper on a steel gray box. I think they turned out well!

I'm filling mine with stationary, stamps, envelopes, and pens. Now she'll have no excuse not to write!
