Button Makers

I've always wanted one.  I remember being in girl scouts and making buttons for our parents.  I don't remember how we made them.  I think it was pretty much just a cheap kit and didn't even include a machine to actually make the buttons.  Anyway, I have no clue where to start on finding a good button machine to invest in.  I don't have a huge amount of money I could spend on one but I don't want a cheap kids toy either.  Anyone know of a good brand to buy and where I can get it?  I looked on Michaels' website but either I looked it up under the wrong name or they just don't carry them.  So any help guys?
