Gel Candles...

I decided that my contribution to my friends birthday party (shes having a luau) was going to be gel candles that looked like cutesy drinks...

I'm a soapmaker so the process of making gel candles came naturally for me...BUT...it takes soooooooooooooooooo long for the gel to melt...I've decided that gel candles will definitly be a "once in a while" thing for me because its too time consuming...unless i can figure out a way to get the wax to melt faster.

But anyways, here is what i did :)











I'm guessing its not too bad for a first attempt :) I even put ice cubes in the drinks to make them look more realistic.

Do any of you gel candle makers out there have any hints for me on getting my wax to melt faster??
