I think I may have posted once before but I was asking a question...so I don't really count it if I did. Haha.
Anyway, I was bored and looking up different projects online. Somehow, I managed to run across a couple of tuts on youtube using yarn to make hair falls and dread falls. I thought "hell, why not?" and got to work on the hair falls (they were easier and quicker than the dread falls). They're so cute too! I love them. The dread falls are still a WIP and are taking a long time (though not quite as long as I thought they would). I have pictures of both and I'll post them under a cut (if I remember how to work them...)...
My hair falls. I wish I would have kept the labels so I could tell you what yarns I used. The black is bulky and the green/blue is fun fur/eyelash yarn. Bought at Walmart.
Me modeling them...

These are the dread falls I'm currently making. Each strand takes between 15-20 minutes for me to do now. Though when I first started doing them it took a whole lot longer than that. They'd probably take longer if you had to switch between different colored yarns but for this pair, you see I'm using a multi-colored ball of yarn. They're fairly simple, just wrapping around six strands of yarn. Using white as my base color but I kind of wish I would have used black or brown...to better match my hair. Oh well. I think I'm going to do around 60 or so strands to one hair band.
