(no subject)

I've been playing with this idea for over a year, and no one really seems to have any helpful input, so here I am!

I want a black Christmas tree. And I want one baaaaad. But a decent one is way out of my price range. I have a decent size, decent looking artificial already and my idea has been to spray paint it black (it's just plain green). The way I play it out in my head, I figure I'd spray each branch carefully, and individually and then assemble. I'm just not sure something like this would work.
Here are my dilemmas:
a) would the spray paint make the tree flammable?
b) would the paint even stick, and if it did, how would it look?
c) no "c" really, just general uncertainty, but lists always look better with at least three items.

I guess I could just go for it, but I really don't want to ruin my tree.

Anyone have any input or ideas?
