It sure took me a long time and required some imagination, so I think yeah :P

I've done hair wraps in various colours and patterns for over a year now. They're artsy and spunky and double as a hairband which is very useful. I cut off my first one (green, navy, and light blue) hair and all (waah!) but ever since I've been unravelling the threads and re-wrapping the same braid. It's why the first few inches (like the purple, red, purple on this one) are a big bulgey - where the wrapping starts, and the hair continued growing the previous time, it turned into a little dread. Yikes.

This is the previous wrap... I loved the rainbow theme but it didn't last long and was a bitch to try and keep the lengths even XD As you can see I added a bit of black-and-white at the bottom because I still had more hair to wrap XDDDDDD

For my next one (I'm thinking the red, purple and white one will last about a month more before I grow tired of it XD ) I think I'll do white, navy, light blue and black. The patterns and techniques are all from a Klutz book I got in Japan when I was about 9. This takes me back... *nostalgia* A different kind of hair wrap is very popular in Israel nowadays - only most girls use hair extentions rather than wrap their own hair, for whatever reason, and the pattern is mostly Xs done in silver or gold thread, around a solid colour. I like to keep mine a bit more cheery and colourful :)
