First post
Nov. 30th, 2010 01:35 amHello all,
I might just be lying when I say that this is my first post... but I am fairly certain that I am not.
A bit about me: I'm 21, and I love to craft. I am trying to work my way into making a living by my crafts, but for now, I just like to share them. I do all sorts of things: I make small backpacks, make clothes, crochet. I'm interested in learning even more. Which is sort of why I am here.
Recently, after a sewing whirlwind, I decided to take a break, and work on something a bit more portable. So, I picked up crochet. I'm not wonderful at all the different stitches yet, but I'm working on that, and I have certainly mastered single crochet. I'm left handed, which makes learning neew stitches hard sometimes, especially since I don't have anywhere near a proper grip.
Anywho, I thought I would share my lastest completions and works in progress.
I completed two gryyfindor scarves, a large and a small:
Large:

small- also known as "slim"

two Ravenclaw, both Slim.

The only difference between the two is that I haven't added the tassels to the second one yet:

And I started on a multi colored zigzag throw. It is twice the length that you can see here. I will use different multi yarns and white to finish it, multi stripe, white stripe, etc. I hopefully won't have to repeat any of the multi yarns.

Slightly closer up.

What do you think? Constructive criticism and suggestions and the like always welcome!
