I hate to post with only a question, but as Christmas is quickly approaching (understatement!), I am getting desperate.

My boyfriend adores ties and is amassing quite the tie collection, but he does not yet own a tie bar or tie tack or anything of the sort--thus, I would like to make him one for Christmas. Does anyone know where you can buy just a plain tie bar or tie tack pieces that you can put your own designs on? I checked out my local Hobby Lobby and the only close thing I've found was just a plain, generic pin and pin back, which didn't seem to be fitting for this purpose.
