Luke Skywalker Costume

hey there my dear crafty friends!!!! =P

I was wondering here!!!! has some of you ever done a Luke Skywalker costume???
the one he wears throughout the movie Return of the Jedi????

i just agreed on making this... the tunic/shirt and pants only! which doesn't really seem that hard but i'm a bit freaked out cause... i'm still fairly new at this sewing thing lol and this involves lots of stuff i've never done before!!! i mean... i have never done men's stuff!!! =S

any help, link, tips, suggestions, etc etc would be really appreciated! c
