Jan. 28th, 2011 03:06 pm It's the middle of summer here, which means a) burning times (ta, ozone hole); b) burning times (really, you're doing a fab job); and c) much longing for the overcast days of less sunny seasons.
I've also recently been given some basic metalworking tools by my father. Note, this is the first time I've worked with metal since I was about thirteen, but I don't think I did too bad a job:

Hacksaw-cut aluminium with punched holes and a brooch bar back. I polished it for ages but it's still a bit manky looking; anyone have any tips for polishing aluminium?
