craftgrrltoday i made the ultimate score while thrift shopping: a vintage 50's swimsuit in perfect condition that actually fits! i might actually go swimming this summer, now that i don't have to be worrying every other second whether a nipple is going to pop out of those getups they call a swimsuit these days. i'm so proud of it, here's a pic:
now my question is: i want to crochet some sort of cover-up to match it, but everything i'm finding online is more a heavy-duty sweater type thing. i want it to be light and airy and open, but still cover my thighs a little bit. has anyone seen a pattern for something like that, preferably online?
