Painting on glass.
May. 2nd, 2011 12:03 amHello, ladies!
I received a hookah for my birthday and it's a very pretty shade of hot pink, but a little plain. I'd really love to paint some designs on it, but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it.
What kind of paint would be best for glass, especially glass that changes in temperatures a lot? The majority is going to be hand washed, but the base is going in the dishwasher every now and then. Would I need to coat it with anything else to protect the design? Would keeping a design on it even be reasonable?
Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can give! This would be my first time working with something other than basic acrylics on a piece of paper, lol.
