Kusudama flower ball
Jun. 2nd, 2011 04:54 pmKusudama balls traditional are made of the same origami shapes glued together. I did this as part of a culture lesson with my kids on Japanese art and paper art, and they had a blast making the flowers. Our flowers are a bit bigger, the papers are 6"x6" (in order to be easier for little hands to fold), to make the flowers.

the best head on picture I have of what a single flower looks like.

one of my kids chose purple and orange to go together

my other kid chose all pink and all orange
