Arabian Horse Handpainted Pendants
Jun. 10th, 2011 07:38 pmWe used to have an Arabian Horse and I miss him greatly and decided it was time to do some new horse pendants. The first one is my version of Van Gogh's Starry Night.
I love Van Gogh and horses and so I decided to make my own painted version of Starry Night. This piece was hand made by me out of a wonderful lightweight sturdy clay called Paperclay and is hand painted in acrylic paints with the stars and swirls done in a super glow in the dark paint that is almost invisible in day light but glows in the dark after being exposed to black light or after being exposed to light in a darkened room. The second picture shows the wonderful glow in the dark paints on this piece!
The finished piece is sealed in a matte varnish to allow the detail to really shine.
The pendant measures approximately 3.5 inches long including the bail and drop by 2 3/4 inches across.

Here is a picture of some more realistic pendants that I did.
