knitting a hat brim wrap and turn
Jul. 8th, 2011 03:00 pmI'm knitting a hat with a brim and it's done in wrap and turns. I'll post the instructions and bold the part that confuses me and explain why.
With size US 6 needles and RS facing, pick up 17 stitches on each side of
marked stitch, ending with a total of 34 stitches on your needle.
slip 1, p32, W&T
k31, W&T
p30, W&T
Repeat the last two rows, working one less stitch before the Wrap & Turn until you
have worked p22, W&T.
Next row (turning row): p22, W&T
p22, k1, W&T
k17 (19, 23), p1, W&T
Am i really suppose to do 3 purl rows in a row? Wont it mess up my stockinette stitch pattern? Or is it a typo and I'm suppose to do a k22 row after the first p22?
Thanks for any help! Here's the ravelry link if anyone wants to look at the pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/kiddie-cadet
