So I was feeling a bit crafty on Tuesday. The fact that I had a craft meet up probably helped with that! My best friend cross stitches so we had a crafty sleep over and stayed up until 5:30AM to work on crafts!

Craft #1 Mason Jar Pin Cushion. These were super easy and ridiculously cheap to make. We used some fabric scraps I had laying around the mason jar (which only cost about 1.29 at Michaels, batting, cardboard (we recycled an empty cereal box because the cardboard was thin) and hot glue. The lid is still able to screw on and off so it's great for storing the pins as well!

Project #2 Dress reconstructed into a shirt. My friend had a really cute dress that somehow got bleach on the skirt. She really loved the dress and was upset about having to throw it away, so we changed it into a really cute top! She said she likes it more as a shirt then she did as a dress!
This is a "before pic" of the dress. Unfortunately I forgot to take one before I cut it up so I had to get it from a photo on the website. ( I hope that's ok!)

This is what it became!!!! I did this very simply....Just cut the skirt part off of the dress and hemmed the shirt.

Project #3! An apron! My best friend wanted an apron, so I made her this super easy one! I forgot to take a picture of the back but it is all red and white gingham fabric. The boarder (except the larger top boarder and the top and inside boarder of the pocket) is done using the fabric on the back side of the apron but folding it over to the front. This is my first ever attempt at making something with sewing! I was pretty proud about how it turned out!

Project #'s 4 and 5 These were not done during "Crafty Tuesday" as it has come to be called but I did them a few months ago for a friend who had a baby. I just haven't had time to post them here....
