Felt flower crafts
Oct. 21st, 2011 10:39 pmI've been obsessed with making felt flowers lately. Here are my efforts!
this one was a hairclip AND a corsage, I just made a pocket on the backside so I could slide in and out either a barrette or a pin.

I made the above using this tutorial. instead of a button I just made a chrysathum felt flower to put in the middle. This was the easiest tutorial ever, by using hot glue I made this in under two minutes

This one I just used this simple felt rose tutorial then hot glued it onto a hairband. The hairband I got in a pack of six at the dollar store, so the whole thing cost me less than a buck to make! I made my babysitter model it, as it was easier to take pics of her head than mine

Here's another felt flower headband. This one was a pain to make, to be honest. I tried glueing the petals instead of sewing, but then they didn't fan out properly, so I had to restart. Sorry for the dirty mirror!

I'm just excited to have some cute new hair barrettes and headbands to dress up and add that pop of color now that the weather has gone dreary. I hope you enjoyed the links!
