Little historical felt dolls

This doll for Henry VIII's 5th wife was a custom order, inspired by its owner's beautiful Tudor gown.

I understand there were/are some doubts on whether this portrait is of Katherine Parr or not, but let's all agree that it's a beautiful portrait, shall we? =) It was a pleasure to use it as inspiration and I only wished I could fit more details in those 10cm/4nch worth of doll.

My first (but not last ;)) foray into The Tudors series for inspiration: Princess Mary.
I absolutely LOVED this doll!
And now we jump over the Canal and a couple of centuries later. =)

Marie Antoinette inspired by one of the beautiful costumes of Sophie Coppola's movie.
