I tried googling this but I got mixed results, so I thought I'd ask here.
I'm starting a new project with polymer clay, specifically fimo, and I need to make a set of eyes for it. I was going to shape them, then bake them briefly to get them firm enough that they won't lose their shape when I form the face around them. I had planned on adding a few details with acrylic paint after I baked them, before I stuck them in the face, but I realized I'd be baking them again when I cured the entire project. Can I bake lightly painted clay like that or will it ruin everything?
Thank you kindly, this is such a great community. :)
