pearl hairpins

When I saw the photos of the Chanel models wearing mermaid-esque pearls in their hair & down their spines I knew it was something I wanted to try myself.



It was really simple:
1. gold bobbie pins
2. gold wire
3. pearl-beads.

I just wrapped around the end of the pin. (There are a bunch of tutorials for these on the internet)


I keep thinking of different ways to wear them. My two favorites are the messy fishtail . . .


and the messy bun. I definitely want to try these again when I come into some money (note the optimism) and can afford some bigger pearls like they used in the show.
