As you may remember from my posts here many years ago, I make trees like this one:





And lots of them!



This leaves (no pun intended) me with literally buckets of rejected chip beads that I have had no idea what to do with...until now:



I made this candle holder using a candle holder frame (purchased from Fire Mountain) that I wove all of my too large, too pointy, or otherwise too wonky to use in my trees chip beads. I used 24g copper wire, and wrapped each section securely around the candle holder frame as I spiraled my way up. It looks gorgeous in a dark room with a lit candle inside! Its a great way to get rid of all those extra beads you have lying around (I know you have them, fellow beaders). I would just avoid using plastic or treated beads, and stick with stone and/or glass, because there is a flame nearby.
