Krow-shay for Knitters
Jun. 7th, 2003 11:50 pmHi. I'm nearly done knitting squares for a simple afghan (saw it years ago in a Delia*s catalog and yelled, HA I CAN MAKE THAT!). I want to crochet the pieces together and then put (i think) a single crochet border around it. Trouble is, crochet is so hard for me but I promised myself I would do it because it looks better than just sewing. I made a few granny squares once, but that's all I can do. Can anyone recommend a good guide for doing this? I've been hunting but in vain. In particular I can't find any good hints for crochet-as-construction. Also, I knit the squares on #10.5 needles. What size hook should I use?
