Suit case help!
Jun. 9th, 2003 04:51 pmI bought a small sized suitcase for 2 bucks at a yard sale this weekend. I love the shape and the size, it looks OK i guess, but I'd love it to look better. It's a really thick and study blue plasic, the surface isn't smooth... It's more like twisted cording ( only it's not cording.) and the gold metal parts on it are icky. I spray painted it black today, it might still be tacky from drying, but is there anything I could put over it to make it less tacky, and make it stay on? It seems like it would scratch off.
Does plasic and stray paint just not work?
I was also thinking about spraying silver sparkles all over it. I just don't know if I should spray a sealer over it.
What do you think? if it doesn't work out, then I'll sand-paper it down and collage over it. I'm also doing the inside with somekind of funky fabric.
hmmhmm Thanks.
